Tuesday: Friend Rules
A social skills class that provides children with the appropriate social tools to be effective in the classroom, at home, and in other social settings. A combination of semi-structured play activities and formal social skills lessons will be used to address communication with peers, conversational skills, attention, nonverbal communication, social problem solving skills and play skills.

Wednesday: Handwriting - Handwriting Without Tears
This class focuses on fostering child development from scribbling to coloring, drawing simple shapes and representation drawings (house, flower, tree, person ...). Children progress to learning basic strokes, then begin to trace and draw uppercase letters. Children learn strong foundation skills for appropriate grasp and posture to set them up for success for Kindergarten and beyond.

Thursday: On Your "Book" Marks, Get Set, Read!
This early literacy class offers beginning and/or struggling readers. We make reading fun by using games and activities that enhance letter recognition, phonemic awareness, letter-sound association, decoding, blending/segmenting and comprehension.

Students that are enrolled in the Boost afternoon program will have a break/snack/outdoor play time from 3:30 - 3:45.
